Charice undero Botox: Who's to blame?

18-year-old singer Charice is prepping for her upcoming role on "Glee" by doing more than brushing up on her acting skills.

At a recent press conference in her native country of the Philippines, the singer revealed she recently got Botox and a skin-tightening Thermage procedure "to look fresh on camera," according to the Associated Press.

Charice was treated by local cosmetic dermatologist Vicki Belo, who is the medical director of several skin clinics in the country. Belo said that she aimed to alter the shape of the singer's "naturally round face."

"Charice's face, I've been noticing, it's been getting wider," Belo was quoted as saying. She blamed the widening on the singer's gum-chewing habit. "Our chewing muscles, if you chew a lot of gums, it gets bigger."

There are rumors that Martin Nievera will sing the Philippine national anthem at the upcoming mega <a href="http://www.pinoyhack.com/2009/01/23/manny-pacquiao-will-fight-ricky-hatton-after-beer-exchanges/">Pacquiao vs Hatton</a> fight. I strongly nominate Charice to sing the national anthem, we should send the best and the best is this little girl. Imagine if Charice would represent the country together with pacman, man that would be awesome. Two world class Filipinos to reprazent the Filipino heritage is effing AWESOME!

Hopefully this time Manny Pacquiao would choose the best singers available, not just because his mother network (GMA) chooses them. GMA should give way and let Pacquiao choose whoever he wants, and I know Charice is the perfect one.
